Woman Fired Over Pierced Tongue Sues Her Employer

A Woodland Hills apartment leasing consultant who allegedly was fired because she got her tongue pierced announced a lawsuit against her former employer Tuesday, citing a new California law that prohibits employers from terminating employees for lawful conduct outside work.
