Law limits ability to check juvenile criminal history

On Sept. 27, Gov. Jerry Brown signed into law Assembly Bill 1843 by Assemblyman Mark Stone, which limits an employer's ability to gain access into the juvenile criminal history of job applicants. AB 1843 which is now Chapter 686, amends Labor Code Section 432.7 and is effective on Jan. 1, 2017.
