CalAtlantic Homes, Sudberry Properties big winners at BIA Icon awards

CalAtlantic Homes, formed last year by the merger of Standard Pacific Corp. and Ryland Group, Inc., was named Builder of the Year at the 7th annual BIA San Diego Icon Awards ceremony.

The Building Industry Association of San Diego recently hosted its 7th annual Icon Awards, which recognizes achievements by local building, trade and design professionals in 36 categories.

A panel of judges from outside the area interviewed each candidate and toured many of the eligible projects before making their selections.
