Law School Applications Down

The number of law school applications received nationwide is down by nearly 13 percent, preliminary data shows, though some California schools are bucking the trend.

The law school applications bubble has finally burst.


After two years of skyrocketing numbers, the volume of applications made to law schools nationwide is down nearly 13 percent for the fall 2011 class, preliminary data shows, though some California schools are bucking the trend.


McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento is the only school of those surveyed to notch an increase over last year....
