Federal Law Doesn't Preclude Mazda Claims

The U.S. Supreme Court unanimously ruled that following safety standards does not insulate Mazda Motor Corp. from liability for claims made under California common law.

WASHINGTON - Adhering to a federal highway safety standard does not insulate Mazda Motor Corp. from liability for claims made under California common law, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously ruled Wednesday.
