NASA Report Could Boost Toyota Defense

NASA researchers issued a report Tuesday that raises fresh questions about the lawsuits against Toyota Motor Corp. that allege electromagnetic interference causes vehicles to accelerate unexpectedly.

A U.S. government report released Tuesday heaps new doubt on a theory put forward by plaintiffs' lawyers that electromagnetic interference is to blame for alleged incidents of unintended acceleration in cars built by Toyota Motor Corp.
