Tech Firm Pays $8 Million for Violations

Maxwell Technologies Inc., a publicly traded maker of energy-storage and power-delivery products in San Diego, agreed to pay an $8 million criminal penalty to resolve charges related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

SAN DIEGO - Maxwell Technologies Inc., a publicly traded maker of energy-storage and power-delivery products in San Diego, agreed to pay an $8 million criminal penalty to resolve charges related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
