Court Widens Worker Retaliation Claims

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Monday that a company can be sued for firing the fiance of an employee who had complained about discrimination.

In a decision expanding the rights of employees who bring workplace retaliation claims, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled Monday a steel company can be sued for firing the fiance of an employee who complained about discrimination.
