Asylum Criteria Much Different For the Cubans

Wolfsdorf U.S. asylum law requires refugees to demonstrate "a well-founded fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion." It is not enough to simply come from an oppressive country. Refugees have to show they would be specifically singled out for persecution should they be forced to return home.
