Dicta: On 'Ally McBeal' By Rebecca Lulow After the first 45 minutes of Monday night's almost unwatchable episode of "Ally McBeal," all intelligent viewers should have made a mental note to demand a return of that wasted time when they are on their death beds. It was typical: visions of disco singers chased Ally, a trial evolved into choreographed dance and Ally pouted like a 2-year-old.
