Most law schools saw enrollment shrink this year, new ABA data shows

Almost three-fourths of law schools nationally enrolled fewer students in fall 2012 than the year before, according to the ABA, continuing a worrisome trend.

Nearly 75 percent of law schools across the country saw enrollment fall this year compared to last, according to newly released figures from the American Bar Association.


Overall, 4,216 fewer students started law school this fall than in 2011, a drop of 9 percent, the ABA found.
