CAOC hosts convention in San Francisco
Consumer Attorneys of California held its 51st Annual Convention on Nov. 8-11 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. The weekend included continuing legal education seminars, the installation of Brian S. Kabateck as the association's president and the announcement of the 2012 Consumer Attorney of the Year. The convention also featured a keynote address by Attorney General Kamala Harris. Among those honored at the event were CAOC members Michael A. Kelly, Kathryn A. Stebner and John A. Montevideo for their contributions to the association. Assembly member Mike Gatto received the Assembly Member of the Year Award, and Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg was named Senator of the Year. -Connie Lopez
