Stanford Three-Strikes Clinic Is 'Litigation Lab'

Seeing defendants sent to prison for life under the state’s three-strikes law after committing petty crimes, criminal-defense attorney Michael Romano left with professor and criminal-law-reform advocate Lawrence C. Marshall to launch a clinic at Stanford Law School that specializes in three-strikes appeals.
