In the early hours of Feb. 6, 2005, Devin Brown, a 13-year-old African American boy from South Central Los Angeles, died a horrible death. He fell to a hail of gunfire from Los Angeles Police Officer Steven Garcia. The officer fired 10 shots at Brown; seven shots struck the schoolboy killing him almost instantly.
