Vioxx Jury Says Merck Knew of Risks

LOS ANGELES - The jury in California's second Vioxx liability trial found Thursday that Merck & Co. knew from available scientific evidence that its drug created a substantial risk to humans. But the jurors could not determine whether Merck had provided sufficient warnings to prescribing doctors about the risks.
