9th Circuit to hear copyright spat over early Superman works

The federal appeals court today will hear oral arguments on the never-ending fight over who owns the 80-year-old superhero.

Just after the never-ending fight over who owns Superman shifted in DC Comics' favor in district court last month, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals today will hear oral arguments on other portions of the cases pitting the publisher against heirs of the original creators of the 80-year-old superhero.
