Age discrimination claims delayed in Lawrence Livermore National Lab suit

The decision was the first sign of hope for defense attorneys who have argued that laywers for laid off employees haven't painted a clear enough picture of how they'll try the case.

Plaintiffs who filed an employment discrimination lawsuit against Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory learned Thursday they will have to wait to bring their age discrimination claims to a jury.


An Alameda County Superior Court judge severed those claims from wrongful termination claims in the case, as requested by the lab's lawyers.
