Transit pass swipes lead to privacy worries

Privacy advocates are concerned about technologies implemented by transportation agencies that track where customers get off and on buses and trains and law enforcement's ability to access that information with relative ease.

Swiping your bus pass during a morning commute doesn't usually evoke images of government intrusions on privacy.


But privacy advocates are concerned about exactly that.
