State Bar emeritus pro bono program reaches out to younger lawyers
A State Bar dues-waiver program has enlisted dozens of senior lawyers to do pro bono work. In July, the bar changed the rules to encourage younger lawyers to participate, an effort that is starting to pay off.

Clifford R. Anderson Jr. plunged into pro bono work when he retired from his law firm because he was concerned about atrophy of his gray cells.
