Lawyers volunteer thousands of hours to defend prisoners' rights

In the wake of the ACLU's investigation last fall into conditions in Los Angeles County's jail system, more than 50 attorneys from nine major law firms dedicated thousands of pro bono hours to the Citizens' Commission on Jail Violence.
