Bank of America gender discrimination suit can go forward

A federal judge denied a motion to dismiss Thursday in a gender discrimination lawsuit against Bank of America Corp., Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc.

A federal judge denied a motion to dismiss Thursday in a gender discrimination lawsuit against Bank of America Corp., Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc.

Plaintiffs, represented by Kelly M. Dermody and Rachel Geman of Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein LLP, will next file a motion to certify their class in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
