9th Circuit grants defendant relief because of poor plea bargain advice
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, citing a pair of months-old U.S. Supreme Court opinions, granted Friday a man's petition to pursue his claims of ineffective assistance of counsel in an evidentiary hearing.
