Privacy Group Names AT&T in Lawsuit Over Domestic Spying
SAN JOSE - Privacy advocates are trying a new strategy in their battle to stop the Bush administration's domestic surveillance program. Instead of suing the government and challenging the program's constitutionality, as the American Civil Liberties Union and Center for Constitutional Rights did last month in separate lawsuits, the Electronic Frontier Foundation is going after AT&T.
