The long-awaited state Supreme Court ruling on the Brinker Restaurant Corp. dispute over meals and rest periods is changing the legal landscape, Sulzer said.


In April, the court handed down its decision establishing standards for employers in ensuring meal and rest periods for their workers while remanding to the trial court the question of class certification.
