Arena Pharmaceuticals taps new president, CEO

Amit Munshi brings more than 25 years of global biopharmaceutical industry experience in executive management, business development, and product development to the post.

Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARNA) appointed Amit Munshi president, CEO and interim principal financial officer.

He will also join Arena's board of directors following the 2016 annual stockholders' meeting, scheduled for June 13.

Munshi brings more than 25 years of global biopharmaceutical industry experience in executive management, business development, and product development to the post.
