Last week, the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the dismissal of a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Ohio's state motto, With God, All Things Are Possible. The American Civil Liberties Union, the plaintiff in the case, had alleged that the motto violated the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.
