The California Supreme Court's recent decision in Armendariz v. Foundation Health Psychcare Services authorized the use of arbitration in employment disputes, notwithstanding the arguments of the plaintiffs' bar that mandatory arbitration agreements are unenforceable as being inconsistent with fairness, justice and the American Way.
