The knock on the newspaper business is, "If it bleeds, it leads." Some in the "Fourth Estate" no longer understand that the expression is in fact a jab at the decline of ethical standards in journalism. As sensational "infotainment" becomes more and more the norm, fewer professionals in media will see the satirical edge to the adage.
