Advancing Access

Anti-affirmative action Proposition 209 aimed at eliminating programs that have increased access for women and minorities. Its proponents insisted that the proposition would restore true equality. But if this claim is to be anything other than a hollow sound bite, contractor and employer conduct must be transparent and accountable in both the public and private sectors.
