Not Much Has Changed Since the '91 King Beating

It was the best of times and it was the worst of times. The Gulf War just had come to an end, and there were "no fly zones" imposed on Iraq. Five LAPD cops were caught on videotape beating the crap out of their subdued black prey, Glen Rodney King, while a gaggle of more than a dozen other cops watched and did nothing to stop the brutal rampage. It happened 10 years ago this past Sunday, during the evening of March 3, 1991. Not much has changed since then.
