Sewer Sequelae

Lawyers who dread fighting city hall may be picking the wrong battles. The cards are stacked against city hall for litigators lucky enough to sign an inverse condemnation case, according to an attorney who represented South Pasadena in what appears to be the largest settlement a California municipality has ever paid a homeowner for destruction caused by sewage.
