EPA orders $20 million cleanup

The Environmental Protection Agency on Wednesday ordered defense giant Northrop Grumman to spend an estimated $20 million to clean up contaminated groundwater in the City of Industry.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Wednesday ordered defense giant Northrop Grumman to spend an estimated $20 million to clean up contaminated groundwater in the City of Industry as part of a years-long effort to tackle widespread pollution of water supplies in the San Gabriel Valley.
