The recent Texas wildfires have destroyed more than 1500 homes. In Southern California, as the days grow hotter and the fall Santa Ana winds begin to blow, the risk of catastrophic wildfires increases. When they happen, large wildfires result in hundreds or even thousands of insurance claims, many of which end up in litigation alleging that the policyholder was underinsured.
