Panel revives antitrust suit against theater chain

A state appellate panel on Wednesday revived an antitrust suit against movie house giant Century Theatres Inc.

Movie house giant Century Theatres Inc., whose Cinemark parent owns thousands of screens around the U.S., cannot prevail on summary judgment against antitrust claims by single-theater Flagship Theatres of Palm Desert LLC, a Los Angeles state appellate court ruled Wednesday.
