Judge okays Wal-Mart settlement in online DVD rental case

A federal judge approved a class action settlement Monday in which Wal-Mart Stores Inc. agreed to pay $27.3 million to resolve civil antitrust allegations.

A federal judge approved a class action settlement Monday in which Wal-Mart Stores Inc. agreed to pay $27.3 million to resolve Netflix Inc. subscribers' allegations it conspired with Netflix to divide the market for DVD sales and online rentals in the United States.
