State Building Volume Declines 1.2 Percent in June

California's statewide construction activity for June totaled $6.2 billion, down 1.2 percent - the first decline in 2003 after five consecutive monthly increases, according to the Construction Industry Research Board.

California's statewide construction activity for June totaled $6.2 billion, down 1.2 percent - the first decline in 2003 after five consecutive monthly increases, according to the Construction Industry Research Board.

The research board attributes the decline to economic uncertainties caused by the state budget crisis.
