Education legal services nonprofit hosts benefit
Learning Rights Law Center and Minds Matters hosted their second annual "A Taste for Education" benefit at Barsha Wines and Spirits in Manhattan Beach on April 24. More than 100 people gathered to support the two nonprofit organizations at the wine tasting event. Learning Rights Law Center is a legal services nonprofit that promotes equal access to the public education system for students from economically-marginalized areas of Los Angeles County. Minds Matter is a volunteer-run college preparatory and mentor program for high school students. — Jean Yung
