ABA Urges Opposition to Surveillance

SAN FRANCISCO - The American Bar Association is now leaning on Congress to stand up to the Bush administration's domestic-spying program. To date, the 400,000-member bar organization has tried just about everything in its power to get the president's attention, from a public report criticizing the legality of eavesdropping to letters to U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez.
