Rough Draft Brewing wins MetroConnect grand prize

The Miramar-based brewery received $35,000 to support its forays into foreign markets, including Canada, Spain and China.

World Trade Center San Diego recently presented Rough Draft Brewing with the MetroConnect Grand Prize, a competitive award given annually to aid in a company's foreign market expansion.

The Miramar-based brewery received $35,000 to support its forays into foreign markets, including Canada, Spain and China.

Rough Draft was one of 15 companies in this year's MetroConnect cohort, which produced $6 million in export sales and 42 new jobs in the region during the program.
