Are ballot selfie bans constitutional?

Are ballot selfies legal in California? They are not, but only for a few more months. California recently lifted the ban on ballot selfies, but not in time for this election.

More than a dozen states throughout the country prohibit ballot selfies. The purpose of these laws is to prevent voter buying and selling and voter intimidation. Imagine, for instance, that you are a public school teacher in Los Angeles who does not support a proposition designed to provide more funding for public education. The principal of your school decides that one way to support civic engagement is for all of the teachers at the school to post selfies of themselves with their ballots...
