The Writ of Habeas Corpus Needs a Legal Transfusion

Everyone, at least in the legal community, knows the immense value of the writ of habeas corpus. Over the years, countless injustices have been corrected through the use of the "Great Writ." It has long been the incarcerated man's best friend. This is so because of its simplicity and the opportunity it offers to bring forth evidence not previously considered at trial or errors by the defense that led to a wrongful conviction or an improper sentence.
