Taking Stock

In a case likely to become a leading case on support, the court in In re Marriage of Cheriton , 2001 DJDAR 10047 (Cal. App. Sept. 18, 2001), continued the trend of extending the reach of the child-support guideline to include assets and stock-option proceeds as income available to pay child support. This case involves a myriad of child-support and spousal-support issues. A petition for review is pending.
