SEC drops charges against former Deloitte Tax partner

The Securities and Exchange Commission dismissed its insider trading claims against a former Deloitte Tax LLP partner Tuesday.

The Securities and Exchange Commission dismissed its insider trading claims against a former Deloitte Tax LLP partner Tuesday, two months after his wife agreed to pay a $1 million civil fine to resolve allegations that she tipped off relatives to confidential deals involving Deloitte's clients.
