Panel decertifies class action against Honda

Acura owners cannot collectively sue Honda over allegations of a faulty transmission in 2002 to 2008 models, a Los Angeles appellate panel has ruled.


The 2nd District Court of Appeal panel granted Honda's petition for a writ of mandate to decertify a class of 19,000 owners, reversing Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge John Shepard Wiley Jr. American Honda Motor Co. Inc. v. Superior Court,
