Brown vetoes redevelopment bills he backed
Gov. Jerry Brown vetoed two bills Monday aimed at abolishing redevelopment agencies or forcing them to pay a "voluntary" fee to the state to remain in existence — bills he himself had championed as part of a fix to the state’s fiscal crisis.

Gov. Jerry Brown vetoed two bills Monday aimed at abolishing redevelopment agencies or forcing them to pay a "voluntary" fee to the state to remain in existence bills he himself had championed as part of a fix to the state's fiscal crisis.
