Elder-Abuse Litigator Pushes Envelope

A few years ago, Billie Lawrence underwent a needle biopsy to determine whether she had a malignant tumor on her lung. The doctor told Lawrence that test results showed her cancer had spread so much that an operation wouldn't help. But, in fact, no physician could come to that conclusion from a needle biopsy, according to her nephew, attorney Russell S. Balisok.
