Court Must Not Let Bush Eviscerate the Alien Tort Claims Act

While the answer to this question may appear obvious, the U.S. Supreme Court is now reconsidering this issue. On March 30, the Supreme Court heard oral argument in a case that will decide the future of an obscure but important federal statute that provides victims of serious human rights abuses with a right of redress.
