School Loses Fourth Appeal of $3 Million Verdict

LOS ANGELES - In a ruling that could end 14 years of litigation, the Simi Valley Unified School District lost its fourth appeal Tuesday of a $2.89 million jury verdict to a student who suffered brain damage in a 1989 accident because of a poorly placed gate at a school campus.
