Hope, Faith and Love

Despite laws that limit marriage to heterosexuals in 37 states and a proposed federal amendment that would do the same nationwide, an uncertain optimism fills the air in the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community. With a recent Supreme Court decision granting them equality in the bedroom and a neighboring country offering the right to marry, same-sex couples are as hopeful as ever that their fight for civil rights eventually will lead them down the aisle.
