Column By Garry Abrams - The U.S. Supreme Court killed Strom Thurmond!? That was my first reaction Friday morning as I scanned the day's headlines. Finally, I thought, the court has done something interesting and bold that doesn't require wading through dozens of pages of muddled prose that would bore a giant tree sloth to death.
